California has lied to me.
California, the golden state, golden sun and bright blue skies, where movies and glitter and glamour had their birth.
California has betrayed me.
The election this year has made history. Barack Obama, a black man, will be president. He will change the world. The poor may get healthcare; the war in Iraq may end. I have faith that Obama is good. The United States will be better.
California has lied to me.
